Adolfo Delgado

Visiting Scholar

Adolfo Delgado is a post-bacc visiting scholar with the STEGG-INTERACT program hosted by the University of Houston. Originally from El Paso, TX, he graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. During his time at UTEP, he worked in Dr. Travis Moschak’s behavioral neuroscience laboratory studying the role of the DMS in drug-seeking behavior.

In the Chakraborty lab, Adolfo studies the diversity and structure of highly repetitive sex chromosomes, with a particular focus on the Drosophila Y Chromosome.
