Mihir is an undergraduate student majoring in genetics, with a strong interest in genetic variation and its impact on gene expression. He is focused on strengthening both his laboratory techniques and computational skills within the field of biology. In the Chakraborty Lab, Mihir conducts research on Drosophila melanogaster that have undergone CRISPR-based genome editing to investigate changes in gene expression.
